A working guide, not a scoring platform
VorkadTeamMeter is an independent informational website for people who lead teams alongside the realities of delivery, limited capacity and changing priorities. Despite the name, this site does not assess employees, calculate team scores or provide a personnel monitoring service.
Our aim is to make practical leadership choices easier to discuss. That means turning an abstract ambition into a small action, explaining what useful evidence might look like and making the limits visible.
What shapes the guidance
The articles draw on established management and learning ideas, including work by Amy Edmondson, Peter Drucker, Edwin Locke, Gary Latham and W. Edwards Deming. Relevant books, researchers and frameworks are named where they are discussed. References are starting points for further reading, not claims that every recommendation has been tested in every setting.
Examples and weekly rhythms are illustrative. They are not case studies of clients, published benchmark data or promises of a particular improvement. We do not invent dashboard statistics to make ordinary advice appear scientific.
People and systems belong in the same conversation
A team’s outcomes depend on individual capability and behaviour, but also on work design, resources, coordination and decisions made elsewhere. We encourage leaders to examine those conditions before turning an outcome into a judgement about a person.
That is not an argument against accountability. It is an argument for identifying responsibility accurately and responding proportionately. Clear expectations, timely support and fair processes matter together.
Limits and independence
This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official representative of the authors, organisations or frameworks mentioned. It provides general education, not legal, HR, medical or mental health advice. It does not offer certification or guarantee professional outcomes.
No registered company identity, company number or office address is asserted on this website. For editorial questions, corrections or privacy enquiries, use [email protected]. We do not publish a guaranteed response time.
Help keep the guidance useful
If a statement is unclear or a reference needs correcting, identify the page and the passage in your message. Share enough context to explain the issue, but avoid employee names, confidential records or sensitive personal information.
